Bio
Mr. Hedman has a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with Rehabilitation Engineering as area of concentration) from the University of Virginia, and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has been a Clinical Rehabilitation Engineer in the Chicago area since 1983.
Clinical Work and Research Interests
His current clinical work is in the areas of Accessibility / Home Modification and Worksite Modification, and his current research interests are in the areas of accessible pathways in the built environment and emergency evacuation from high-rise structures.
