Family Discipline

Past/current experiences working in the field of disabilities:

I currently work with families that are experiencing mental health crises with their children.  I assist them in finding and utilizing community resources.  Personally I have four children that  I have had to navigate one system or another for to be able to help them to be as successful as possible.

Goals for your LEND training experience:

I hope to be able to take away from this experience the ability to better advocate for the families I work with and to be able to  better teach them to advocate for themselves and their children.

What you wish to contribute, in the future, as a professional/family member in the field:

I wish to be able to pass along the knowledge I have gained to others through community service and leadership opportunities.
