IDHD Braddock Library Catalog

Named after David Braddock, Professor Emeritus, the DHD Braddock Library is an extensive collection of over 3500 items. We have titles from multiple disciplines all engaging with disability. Many of our holdings are quite rare and come from the collections of David Braddock and Wolf Wolfensberger. While the library is physically located in the Department of Disability and Human Development, the DHD Braddock Library on Disability catalog is online. Please click here to search the library.
Materials are able to be requested in renewable, two-week loan periods. Use the online search feature to request the materials. A librarian will contact you when your materials are ready to be picked up. Items must be picked up at DHD. Items cannot be mailed to patrons.
Library working hours:

The library is generally available Monday-Friday between 9:00am and 4:30pm. To access the library please locate Mary Kay Rizzolo in room 245 or email her at mrizzo3@uic.edu.
